Students in Primary School
Step 1 classes are designed for children in the first grade of Primary School. Pre-Junior English classes provide a rich and rewarding first exposure to the English language through a range of interactive tasks. The course introduces students to functional language, key vocabulary, and the alphabet, building their confidence. Well-trained and experienced teachers make effective use of technology, songs, games, videos, and creative activities.
Step 2 classes are designed for children in the second grade of Primary School. Children are introduced to the English language through a variety of communicative activities aimed at building their confidence and fostering a love for learning. The main focus will be on the alphabet, topic vocabulary, and phonics. Well-trained and experienced teachers make effective use of technology, songs, games, clips, and creative activities.
The solid foundations established at Elementary level will enable our students to take their first external Cambridge Young Learners Movers and Flyers examinations. Preparing for and taking these exams will not only serve as a motivating challenge, but also provide excellent preparation for future Cambridge exams such as KET, PET, FCE and IGCSE Second Language English (see table below).
At our Institute, your child will learn to communicate effectively in English and earn internationally recognised qualifications that are highly regarded by British, European and other universities worldwide. Additionally, both the FCE and IGCSE qualifications are recognised in Cyprus for employment purposes, including in the Civil Service, banks and other sectors.
Exam Registrations – We are committed to making your child’s experience with Cambridge English exams as smooth and straightforward as possible. To ensure this, it is crucial that we adhere to the specific registration times and deadlines set by Cambridge. As such, we are unable to accept registrations after the specified deadline.
