At our Institute, we recognise that some students learn differently — and that with the right support, understanding, and strategies, they can flourish both academically and personally. The SEN Learning Hub is a specialised programme designed to support students with Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence, independence, and effective learning habits.
The Learning Hub does not replace classroom teaching. Instead, it works alongside school learning, providing targeted support that empowers students to better understand how they learn and how to succeed across the curriculum .
The programme is carefully structured to develop the core skills that many learners with SEN find challenging. The focus is not on simply completing daily homework tasks, but on equipping students with the underlying skills and strategies they need to manage their learning independently and confidently. These include:
Student progress is monitored through clear learning goals, ongoing observation, and regular feedback.
The SEN Learning Hub is designed for students in Year 5 and Year 6 of Primary education, as well as Years 1, 2 and 3 of Secondary education. The SEN Learning Hub initially supports students with:
Before joining, each student completes an intake screening. This allows us to understand their learning profile more fully, including executive functioning, working memory, processing speed, and language or literacy needs. This careful approach ensures that every student is placed in a group where they can truly benefit — even if they present with a combination of needs such as Dyslexia and ADHD .
Learning takes place in very small groups of up to four students, allowing for:
This balance of individual attention and peer learning creates a safe, encouraging environment where students feel understood and supported .
The SEN Learning Hub is built on a positive, inclusive philosophy. We celebrate neurodiversity, focus on strengths, and help students recognise their own abilities. Our aim is not simply to address difficulties, but to:
Above all, we want every student to leave the Hub feeling capable, confident, and empowered.
Sessions are delivered in Greek. Depending on demand, classes may also be offered in English or bilingually, with both Greek and English used simultaneously. Parents are kindly asked to indicate their preferred language when registering.
